LinguPods ("we", "us", or "our") provides a mobile application and related services that help you learn languages through daily AI-generated podcasts personalized to your interests and target language. This policy describes how we handle personal information in connection with those services.

• Content metadata — information about daily podcast episodes served to you, including timestamps, interest tags, and level tags.
• Device and usage data — app version, coarse diagnostics, and similar technical information needed to operate and improve the service.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Provide core features, including daily podcasts, interest- and level-matched content, and account sync across devices where available.
• Personalize content to your interests, target language, and CEFR level, and track your learning progress in the app.
• Improve content quality, audio reliability, and product experience.
• Secure accounts, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
• Communicate important service updates when necessary.

AI and automated processing

Stories, podcast scripts, and related learning content may be created or adapted using automated and AI-assisted processing. To deliver these features, we may send relevant inputs (such as your level and content parameters) to trusted AI and infrastructure providers that process data on our instructions.

We design these features to support your language learning. We do not use your personal data to train public models unless we clearly disclose otherwise and, where required, obtain your consent.

Sharing and subprocessors

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers (such as hosting, authentication, text-to-speech or audio delivery, storage, or analytics) who process it on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
