These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LinguPods("the App") and related services. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

The service

LinguPods helps you learn languages through daily AI-generated podcasts matched to your interests, target language, and CEFR level (A1–C2). You can read transcripts, listen to audio episodes, and track your practice over time. Features may change over time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful purposes or to violate others' rights.
• Copy, redistribute, or resell app content or audio at scale outside normal personal learning use, unless we explicitly allow it.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service except as permitted by law.
• Upload malware or attempt to interfere with content delivery or other users.

Learning content

Stories and podcasts are generated to support language practice. They are for educational purposes and may contain inaccuracies. You should not rely on them as professional translation, legal, medical, or other expert advice.

We may update, replace, or remove daily content at any time. Your level selection affects difficulty but does not constitute a formal certification of language proficiency.

AI-generated content

Text and audio may vary in quality, pronunciation, and accuracy. You are responsible for how you use the App as part of your broader learning plan. LinguPods does not guarantee a particular exam result, fluency timeline, or outcome.

Subscriptions and purchases

If the App offers paid plans or in-app purchases, pricing and billing terms are shown at the time of purchase and may be subject to the app store provider's policies. Refunds are handled according to those policies and applicable law.

Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LinguPods AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US $100), UNLESS MANDATORY LAW PROVIDES OTHERWISE.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we need to do so for legal or security reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms. We will post the updated version and adjust the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance, where permitted by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction we designate for disputes, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
